Beatles Live, They do it better than anyone, RAIN

Many listeners heard Joe Bithorn (GEORGE) with me this morning on WARM. He shared the story of RAIN and the show they bring to Seattle this week for the family to experience.  This is a group that for over 30 years has played Beatles music live on stage.  They look, sound and have a note for note perfection, it’s their voice and they play all the instruments. Over 220 Beatles songs catalog to choose from  brings a “no two shows alike” promise for fans. They even pay licensing and rights to SONY for music performed (the only group that does).  They do songs live that The Beatles themselves could never play on stage.  Most might remember a made for TV movie called Birth Of The Beatles.  Dick Clark could not get permission from APPLE for use of Beatles songs.  He hired RAIN to do the soundtrack. Later RAIN would be involved in many BeatlExpo events here in Seattle which I Co-Produced in the 90’s.  The Parkers Ballroom shows of 2000 capacity were getting so packed they would be booked in nothing smaller than the Paramount.  Here is a highlight video of which many shots are from shows of past here in Seattle.  Rain is at The Moore Theater , Wed-Sunday this week.
