2013 Seattle Rock And Roll Marathon has changes

There’s nothing quite like miles of live, outdoor concerts to make it feel like summer. There you are running or walking for a good cause mile after mile with one Live band after another.  This is what The  Seattle Rock And Roll Marathon is all about .

A major gathering of all of us who love The Seattle Rock And Roll Marathon and half marathon occurred over the weekend.  There will be a couple of changes to the route this year.  The event will be Jun 26, 2013.  The change downtown  will have us on Fifth  Ave instead of Second  Ave. This will be more of a Seattle feel many are thinking with this change.  The big hill at South Dakota St. from Rainier Ave S. to 43^rd Ave South is avoided by the courses traveling the same blocks down South Genesee Street.  There are charts and maps coming.  Here is a link for sneak peak.   (Picture is the Turkey Trot/Ballard  that my family participated in, Alll over Seattle everyone is finding a real mecca of run/walk opportunity)
