15 of 31 Dec Nights Out, Babysitter?

New research shows that we spend more nights in December "Out" than "In".  So many parties, Company events, Concerts, Dinners and so on.  Can't find a babysitter?  What rate do you pay?  Babysitter.com says in 2012 for most cities the rate is $7.25 per hour (single child age 3-9)  if the sitter is handling 3 children in the home it's $20 per hour  (these fees include food/beverage for 4 hours minimum.  If you agree on a set time and run late you then pay time and a half.  These basics will bring your sitter back time and time again.  If you pay $5 rate (single child) or $10 (3 child care) and supply Food and Beverage and include pickup and return for the babysitter your right around normal values for 2012.  Hope it helps and enjoy all the festivities!    martk@warm1069.com
