So I read this article today from U.S. News & World Report online in the Yahoo! Finance section titled "Top 10 Hotspots for Human Longevity." So many web stories like this I find speak to rankings or status praise, but as I read closely- this was more of an article towards all of us getting healthy!
Two regions highlighted in the article are the Mediterranean & Pacific Rim for measures of long lifespans. The regional cuisines coupled with heathy lifestyles really show the cultural rewards available to us in the States if it's important enough! From Japan to Italy and in between, there are specific life habits that rank these countries well above #50 U.S.A.
What do they say...The proof is in the pudding? Maybe it's time to cut the pudding out for fish and rice, olive oil for butter, oregano for salt, etc...
