Hooray!
It's that time of year again! Time for music, comedy, film, exhibits and other arts wrapped up in a nice weekend bow called Bumbershoot which started today. I went for the 1st time last year and had a blast with my cousin and look forward to the next few days of the Festival, since it also coincides with the 50th anniversary of Seattle Center. I'll break it down for any event newcomers. Bumbershoot isn't a crammed festival of major music acts, but a good mixture of pop, eclectic, and indie acts to go along with various arts and activites for everyone. I'm impressed by the event's practical conservation efforts, diverse schedule, and community giving. See the video below for a quick tour through this year's music...
