John Stamos stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday to officially confirm the Netflix reboot of the 1990s classic “Full House.”
Stamos says the series will focus on the eldest two Tanner daughters, DJ and Stephanie, along with kooky-neighbor Kimmy, as they continue the group-raising-a-family effort with their own children.
The spin-off, titled “Fuller House,” will star “Full House” veterans Candace Cameron-Bure (DJ), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy), with Stamos on-board to produce and guest star.
Netflix has ordered 13 episodes of the new series, starting with a full hour first episode. The streaming service is in talks with other original cast members, including Bob Saget, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, about possibly guest-starring.
