It’s Jimmy Fallon’s 1-year anniversary as host of the Tonight Show

Not everybody was convinced former SNL and Late Night star Jimmy Fallon could handle the job when he replaced Jay Leno on the Tonight show last year, but he not only handled things; he pretty much remade the entire show into a fun free-for-all featuring music, goofy games, and guest appearances by huge stars doing very unexpected things . . . for instance, New Jersey governor Chris Christie proving that he’s all about that bass by shaking his booty in “The Evolution of Dad Dancing.”

That was kind of a sequel to this bit from Fallon’s old Late Night show featuring first lady Michelle Obama:
