Issaquah Woman Finds Something Valuable In Her Food.

Lindsay Hasz was enjoying a nice meal at Montalcino Ristorante in Issaquah when she bit into her medley of seafood and shellfish,  when she thought she might have broken a tooth.

The culprit: a small, purple pebble-like object embedded in one of her clams. Turns out, it was a 1-carat, gem-quality Quahog pearl, almost perfectly symmetrical, worth about $600.
