Warm 106.9 is proud to welcome The Doobie Brothers in concert to The Puyallup Fair on Wednesday, September 19th.
Few groups have the notoriety of performing for 21 consecutive years. The Doobie Brothers is one of those elite bands. With hit songs, “Black Water,” “What a Fool Believes,” “Real Love,” and “Long Train Running” in their vast book of hits, over 35 million fans have clamored to hear them perform time and again.
The Doobie Brothers will perform on Wednesday, Sept. 19th at 7:30 p.m. at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center. The concert, part of the Columbia Bank’s Puyallup Fair Concert Series will start selling tickets on Saturday, April 28 at 10 a.m. on the Fair website, www.thefair.com/concerts or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247), daily, 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. PST. To save the convenience charges, purchase tickets in person at the Puyallup Fair & Events Center box office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Golden Circle tickets are $65, with other tickets selling at $50, $35, and $25. All are reserved seating, and include Fair gate admission.
With 16 albums under their belts, the latest release, World Gone Crazy is an analogy for the Doobie Brothers as a whole. The album has perfectly honored the band’s legacy with an offering that grows in unexpected new directions. While the band has had countless changes in personnel, it is comforting to know that founding members Tom Johnston and Pat Simmons are the writers and lead vocalists on this latest work of art.
