Display Gardens
The Show Gardens are the heart and soul of all world-class garden shows, and the Northwest Flower & Garden Show will present a magical flower-filled fantasy display at our 2012 show. The show theme is A Floral Symphony. Our 25 show gardens will be themed after different types of music and the sounds of nature. Many of the display gardens will incorporate live music into their design bringing glorious atmosphere to all those who attend.
Over 120 World Class Seminars
Whether you're new to gardening or a seasoned veteran, get practical ideas and advanced techniques. Topics include sustainability, small space gardening and urban farming. Plus valuable tips for edibles, ornamentals, landscape planning and more.
Marketplace
From greenhouses to gardening tools, bulbs to botanical art, you will find all things related to plants, gardens and outdoor living (and only to those subjects!) in the Marketplace. Over 75 nurseries, 35 Educational/Garden Resource Center organizations and 250 other exhibitors display their wares.
Most exhibitors are offering plants and other products for sale right at the Show. And don't forget the Show provides convenient and free Package Check locations where you can safely leave your cherished acquisitions while you visit the rest of the Show.
Container Show
Staged on the Convention Center's Skybridge spanning Pike Street far below, 16 luscious container gardens offer lots of practical ideas and inspiration, especially for apartment and condo dwellers.
Floral Competition
This opulent display of artfully arranged blooms will delight anyone who partakes in the visual splendor. Located in the South Lobby, don't miss this competition showcasing the area's best and most innovative designers and florists.
The PlayGarden
This year's PlayGarden is inspired by the feel good classic "Rockin' Robin"!
Sprout Stage
Our Sprouts Stage in the 'Rockin' Robin'- themed PlayGarden will host some lively children's musical acts every day of the show. Sing along with Caspar Babypants, Nancy Stewart, Your Imaginary Friend, and the "Creepin' Critters." These popular children's singer/songwriters are just the thing to get your children bopping and laughing to wheelbarrow loads of silly songs! Daily at 10:30 am, 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm.
Live Music
The show will feature live music stage in the South Lobby each day, featuring local acts playing Jazz, Symphony, Gospel, Bluegrass, and Choral music throughout the five-day event.
