Who is going to judge American Idol?

One big name being mentioned to take a seat at the judge's table is Mariah Carey. Other speculations includes Lady Gaga, Kanye West or even the return of Simon Cowell. Does it matter? Of course it does! American Idol is a singing competition and ultimately we choose the winner, but it is also a reality show, and if the judges are not compelling and do not have chemistry, no one will be watching. Fewer people mean fewer votes and lower ratings. So the creators of Idol have their work cut out for them. Who do you think would make a great judge?
