Time with family

All this talk from Tom and Will about the learning curve on their new smart phones...I got my first real smart phone almost a year ago and I barely know how to turn it on!

I kid, of course...I am perfectly capable of turning it on, and off for that matter, but not much else.  :)

This weekend we went to see my sister & her husband in the desert, it was 82 and sunny, and so very neccessary to dry out our web feet. The desert flowers were blooming after it poured there all last weekend, and it was absoutely beautiful.

They picked us up at the airport and the first thing my sister says to me is "turn off your phone".

So I did. It was wonderful to be unplugged* all weekend! Time with family, laughing and relaxing is the best, and I did not miss my phone one bit.

*Full disclosure: I did turn it back on Sunday so my technologically savvy sister could show me how to load & use things on my phone.
