Lessons Learned?

I know I am not prepared. However, watching Hurricane Isaac hit New Orleans seven years after the devastation of Katrina has been difficult and brought this point home, seeing people lose everything again? Ouch. Do you keep re-building or leave? What if something like that happened here? Experts say be ready, always for at least 3 days, with water, food, medications and some sort of emergency plan. After the Taylor Bridge fire I started checking this website, boy that will make you pay attention!

Especially with all the earthquakes that have been happening in Alaska and California these past few weeks, it makes you wonder if it is almost time for another quake here...I'm off to go prepare.
