Itchy

I have really noticed it, the irritated eyes, the fatigue, and the 'am I? or aren't I?' sick business....it is time for allergies folks!

 

As much as we are excited for Spring around here, for many people it is a double edged sword, and allergy season can be brutal.

Growing up I never had symptoms despite having a brother that is allergic to almost everything, now I feel his pain. My first introduction was interesting: I had just started a new job and woke up one day with my left eye completely swollen shut. Arriving at a nearby clinic (I had no health care) holding my eye open so I could see, they took one look at me and shuttled me in the back room for a steroid shot in the, um, caboose.
