Cooking for a crowd?

While I am not brave enough to try cooking salmon in the dishwasher, I have been known to try out new recipes on unsuspecting guests.

Here is a crowd pleaser:

Taco Pie

Ground beef (or chicken, turkey, tofu or beans)

Chopped onion

Taco seasoning

Green chiles

Black beans

Corn

For the crust, I use whatever I happen to have-canned cresent rolls, actual pie crust, tortillas or even Bisquick mix (using eggs & milk)

Top it off with grated cheese (my favorite for this is monterey jack) and bake it for about 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees.

You can also add chopped cilantro or green onion.

Serve with salsa, sour cream & guacamole. Yummy!
