I’m not much of a runner, but a few years ago I pushed myself and ran 3 days a week for about 2 miles each time. I know, not much…but HUGE for me. I set a goal to participate in three 5k runs. I did the FIRECRACKER 5000, SWEDISH SUMMER RUN and TORCHLIGHT that year. I was in my best shape in years.
Last night, the light went on again. From the runners, fans who cheered, wedding proposals, last years bomb-survivors, friends who carried friends across the finish line…The BOSTON MARATHON photos and stories have been inspirational. I’m going to do it again. Run, with three races to conquer by Summer’s end.
