Community Fun in Nisqually! (photos)

One of my favorite things to do as a Radio Air Personality for WARM 106.9 and On-Court Emcee for our Seattle STORM, is engaging and having fun at community centers.  Recently had a BLAST at the Nisqually Youth Center with my STORM friends Sue Bird, Alysha Clark, Camille Little, Tanisha Wright (to name a few:).  Kids played basketball with coaches and players, running drills and playing on-court games (much like the ones we play during timeouts and half-time at all STORM games), player autographs and of course a TON of selfies:).  Neighborhood Community Centers are sooooooo important!  If you ever have an event that I can share, please pass it along!  And…GO STORM! - Shellie Hart

About Shellie Hart

Your workday host is a longtime Seattle Radio Midday Air-Personality. Shellie grew up in Burien and now lives in West Seattle. She’s the on-court Entertainment Emcee for our 2X WNBA Championship Team SEATTLE STORM. Shellie is also committed to Children’s Hospital with weekly participation in their CHILD LIFE Program, dedicating over a 100 hours of volunteer time annually. People ask all the time, “What’s your favorite part of the job?”, and my response is YOU! Sure I get to meet all kinds of famous people, but it’s engaging with the people and their Northwest families that makes me happy”
