What went down at the VMAs:

Calvin Harris won for Best Male Video for the hit song he co-wrote with ex Taylor Swift, “This Is What You Came For” and shockingly did not thank Tay-Tay!

Beyonce showed up on the red carpet with the mother’s of Oscar Grant, Mike Brown, Eric Gardner and Trayvon Martin.

Drake presented Rihanna with the Video Vanguard award and introduced her as someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old.

Kim Kardashian debuted what appeared to be an even larger diamond ring on her left hand than her already absurdly large 15-karat engagement ring.  It appears to be a gift from her husband Kanye.

Adele picked up an award of her own at the Edinburgh International TV Festival; taking home TV Moment of the Year for her rendition of a Nicki Minaj rap during her episode of James Corden’s “Carpool Karaoke.”

Apparently things weren’t all gravy behind-the-scenes when Britney Spears carpooled with James Cordon.  The pop diva confessed she wasn’t thrilled to belt out her original hits, “… Baby One More Time” and “Oops! … I Did It Again!” and got frustrated when he kept playing them over and over.  She kind of called Corden out, claiming he “controlled the whole thing” but that she still “totally went along with it.”  Spears also admitted the filming setup made her slightly uncomfortable, saying “It was a little awkward, like, driving by grocery stores.  People walk by and there are like 18 cameras around us. This is just so awkward.”

Seahawks star, Richard Sherman has added a new job title to his resume, restaurant owner.  Sherman is part owner of a Wing Stop in the West Seattle area that opened over the weekend!
