Ashley’s Morning Scoop 4.25.16

Beyonce’s much anticipated…..thing, Lemonade debuted on Saturday night on HBO.  It was basically a musical film, followed by the release of a brand new album on Hubby, Jay Z’s musical platform, Tidal.  Speaking of Jay Z, he seemed to be a topic of many of Bey’s songs; namely his alleged past cheating.

Beyonce addresses her husband’s infidelity head on in a song called Sorry, leading one woman who was reportedly linked with Jay Z to make reference to being called out.  That woman’s name is Rachel Roy…not Rachel rAy.  There’s a difference in spelling there; a fact that was seemingly lost on many Beyonce fans who went straight to Rachel Ray’s social media accounts and started bashing the 30-minute meal chef.  One person even posted on Ray’s account, telling the chef to “Go caramelize SOME onions.”  Oooooh Burn!!

If you’ve been sitting around missing the days when you could grab your girlfriends and head out to a 98 Degrees show, I have great news for you!  The boys will be hitting the road for a 35-city tour starting in July.  98 Degrees will be joined by OTown, Ryan Cabrera, and 90’s girl band, Dream.  Tickets go on sale Friday, but a full list of cities and dates hasn’t been released.

Longtime King 5 News personalities Dennis Bounds, Jean Enerson, Jeff Renner and Linda Byron delivered their final newscasts on Saturday as all 4 took retirement packages offered to them and several other staffers.  King 5 says the move gives them an opportunity to switch things up, moving current reporters and anchors to fill the vacancies and make some new hires as well.  All 4 had a chance to say goodbye to their coworkers and viewers.
