HGTV’s Love It or List It has come under fire after a North Carolina couple has filed a lawsuit saying the show left their house “irreparably damaged.” The couple claims that the series hired a contractor with whom they did not agree to work and that the show was staged. They further allege that he left holes in the floor, did not paint all surfaces necessary and painted numerous windows shut during the remodeling process.  They further allege that they fronted a deposit of $140,000 for the remodeling, but only $85,786.50 was paid out to the contractor. The suit claims the remaining money went to staging rather than to actual renovations of the couple’s home.

Michael Strahan is leaving Live with Kelly & Michael for a full time co-anchor gig with Good Morning America starting in September.  Strahan has been appearing on GMA twice a week since 2014.  As for Michael’s cohost, Kelly & the Live staff are apparently outraged that they were not given a heads up about Strahan’s impending departure.  In fact, they found out as it was being announced on social media.  Kelly felt humiliated & disrespected according to sources; she didn’t show up for their show today and apparently took a “sick day!”

Remember last week when Kate Hudson and JJ Watt surprised everyone by snap chatting during their “date?”  Well, it turns out, the two were just messing with us!  They have the same agent and were at a big dinner…….single tear.
