James Cordon has just been announced as the host of the 2017 Grammy’s! We are already hoping for a Grammy edition of Carpool Karaoke! You can probably expect plenty of things like this…..
It seems like something has been going on with Kanye West lately, as his erratic behavior seems to have increased dramatically. You may remember he was 90 minutes late to his show in Sacramento, then performed 3 songs before going on a rant. He cancelled Sunday’s show in LA just hours before it was set to start and yesterday cancelled the remainder of his tour citing exhaustion.
Since then, things have taken even more of a turn as West was hospitalized for a psych evaluation after acting erratically at his trainer’s house. The police and medics were called and Kanye was talked into going to the hospital for the evaluation.
Part 1 of the Dancing with the Stars finale was last night and the remaining 4 couples brought their A-games for their two dances. Laurie Hernandez, James Hinchcliffe and Calvin Johnson all got 40s on their freestyle dances, and poor Jana Kramer was in tears after her less than perfect performance that saw her sent home. Part 2 is tonight, and I am still saying Laurie Hernandez takes home the Mirrorball trophy.
The American Music Awards drew all-time low ratings this year, only 8.2 million people tuned in, but host Gigi Hadid did her best to keep those people entertained. What she ended up with was an impression of Melania Trump that left a lot of people upset at the model. Gigi issued an apology on Social Media saying “I was honored to host the AMA’s last night and to work with some of the most respected writers in the business. I removed or changed anything in the script that I felt took the joke too far, and whether or not you choose to see it, what remained was done in good humor and with no bad intent. I too have been the center of a nationally televised comedy skit that poked fun at my actions, and was able to find the humor in it. I believe Melania understands show business and the way shows are written and run. I apologize to anyone that I offended and have only the best wishes for your country. Respectfully, G.”
Former Glee star, Naya Rivera and her husband of two years, Ryan Dorsey have called it quits. In a joint statement, the former couple said “After much consideration, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Our priority is and always will be our beautiful son that we share together. We will continue to be great co-parenting partners for him. We ask for respect and privacy for our family during this difficult time.”
