Jennifer Hopper, whose bravery and resilience have continued to astound all who know her, will be performing for the first time publicly since she and Teresa Butz were attacked in their home in the South Park neighborhood on July 19, 2009. I’ve been invited to emcee the event, am truly honored. As The STRANGER once dubbed Jennifer as the BRAVEST WOMAN IN SEATTLE, I would have to agree.
The ANGEL BAND PROJECT story: Sexual violence is a silent issue. We’re working to break the silence and inspire people to engage with this issue through the transformative power of music. In doing so, we hope to provide healing for survivors and foster a society that’s not only willing to listen, but ready to change.
