The Angel Band Project BENEFIT CONCERT featuring Jennifer Hopper (info)

Jennifer Hopper, whose bravery and resilience have continued to astound all who know her, will be performing for the first time publicly since she and Teresa Butz were attacked in their home in the South Park neighborhood on July 19, 2009.  I’ve been invited to emcee the event, am truly honored.  As The STRANGER once dubbed Jennifer as the BRAVEST WOMAN IN SEATTLE, I would have to agree.

The ANGEL BAND PROJECT story:  Sexual violence is a silent issue. We’re working to break the silence and inspire people to engage with this issue through the transformative power of music. In doing so, we hope to provide healing for survivors and foster a society that’s not only willing to listen, but ready to change.

So join me, TONITE (FRIDAY) as THE ANGEL BAND PROJECT featuring the voice of JENNIFER HOPPER will take to the stage at the NEPTUNE THEATRE.  A benefit concert/all proceeds help survivors of sexual abuse through The Angel Band Project Angel Band2.   Advance Ticket Info (HERE)

Here’s a thoughtful article from the Seattle Times about Jennifer and her passion to use music as a way to bring awareness to the issue of sexual violence. (HERE)
