A Mother’s Request for a ‘SWEET 16′ Birthday Card (ADDRESS)

These kinds of requests humble me. This was forwarded by my co-worker Sigrid, as I saw her yesterday writing out a Birthday Card and when I asked she shared the story.  This is a local (Carnation) Mother’s request for her daughter.  I hope you can join me and take a moment to send a simple Birthday Card and wish Tawna a SWEET 16 :)Shellie Hart

‘Ok Carnation, my daughter is turning 16 On March 3 . I am not asking to buy her gifts just send her a birthday card this is one thing she enjoys getting. She has juvenile huntingtons disease, her father passed 16 months ago from this deadly disease at the age of 35. And her aunt who usually takes her to her favorite restaurant on her birthday passed two weeks from Huntington’s disease. I just want her to have a sweet 16 she not a average teenager the disease has taken that away from her. her IQ is more of a second grader and every year this disease takes more from her. If you are interested in bringing a smile to her face please join in. this disease destroy the brain slowly but in juvenile they seem not to make it to their 21 birthday.’Terrie Ahenakew Decker
